Pint X sized battery boxes in 6061 T6 billet aluminum. Perfect for the Pint V upgrade where you want a larger box for more battery space. You could also build a board from scratch so we include a lid (when you don't have one as a donor).
This box threads into the gland connection for the existing wiring harness. It does not have a groove for seating a gasket, I just use a layer of RTV gasket maker to form a seal between the lid and box.
The LED bar fits but I had to grind the PCB down about .5mm on each side, the groove is slightly too narrow. The power port has some material that needs a little grinding to clear the GX connector. The mods needed are very minor.
You will need to make a window to seal the LED strip. I used polycarbonate sheet but you can also use acrylic.
Please ensure your BMS will not short against this box...I doubt anodizing the surface is sufficient. You could spray some truck bed liner where it needs to be insulated. I wrapped my BMS in fish paper and taped it up. Just don't trust the default potting on a BMS, it can rub through.
